Len Kaplan in first 10 years after graduation of Nicolaev Shipbuilding Technological University (MS in Electrical Engineering) tried 10 different specialities, ranged from mechanical engineering in intrascopy to research in semiconductors. Then, for 15 years he has worked as consultant /
facilitator / coach / trainer in area of technological innovations.

20 years of active research in TRIZ and adjacent areas comprise his
" parallel life": he permanently improved his tools of creativity, and
application of these tools to the real-world problems pushed forward his
research. He successfully conducted about 80 various projects, ranged from
" firefighting" to evolution of various industries. His favourite joke is,
" my expertise ranges from brushes (in vehicle alternators) to brushes
(evolution of hairbrushes)." His interests range even wider: from dispute
resolution to market evolution.

Currently, Len is seeking for new business opportunities to apply his unique
creative knowledge, expertise and skills. He says, "I'm the luckiest person
in this world: for so many years, I dealt only with the best people in the
whole world, with those who have enough stamina to say, I do have a problem,
I do need a help!" His true belief is that "our mind is like parachute: it
works only when open. Open your mind, and everything becomes possible!".
